We want to be a church that loves everyone unconditionally!
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We are a Pentecostal Church affiliated with
the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
We believe the Godhead exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are one God.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God that was conceived of the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, His death, His resurrection and in His ascension and that He now sits at the right hand of the Father.
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ.
We believe that with faith in Jesus and repenting of our sins, we are granted eternity with God in Heaven
We believe in divine healing and baptism by immersion.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and that the gifts are still at work today (wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues and interpretation).
We believe that God the Father still speaks to His children today through His Holy Spirit.
We believe that the church is not a building or a denomination, but rather the believers themselves who make up the church.
What is Love?
Jesus loves us all unconditionally. As believers we are to love others as Jesus did. And so as a church it is our goal to love everyone unconditionally as well. At the foot of the cross we are all on the same level of ground. No one is better or beneath. We at Manitoulin Community church strive to keep a family atmosphere in our church where every person who enters feels welcomed, included and a part.
What Relationships Mean to Us?
Building strong relationships with each person in our church and in our community is vital to us. As a church we do our best to provide constant opportunities to build relationships with people. It is our desire for people to know that they matter and that they have worth! To accomplish this we need to take the time to get to know each other better. By building strong bonds and relationships people feel more a part of the family of God. As we remain united together for one purpose God will be glorified in a greater way.
It is our passion to reach out to our community. We want the community to know we are here and that we care. We are not a closed group only concerned about ourselves but we are a part of a bigger picture. It is our desire to be aware of the communities needs and do all that we can to be of service in those areas. What better way to show God’s love for others than to reach out to our community in practical ways.
